As a means of calming anxious patients, we provide nitrous oxide. Dispensed through a small mask that covers your nose, it is tasteless, odorless, and does not affect your ability to speak with the dentist. It will wear off by the end of your visit and you may not need nitrous oxide, or sleeping gas, as you become more comfortable at Kootenai Family Dental.
